It’s nice to have a sit down option for good food in the mall, though we would follow Mo no matter where he went. Mo’s Friday night prime rib dinner, the ribeyes, fried shrimp, chicken tortilla soup are all good but so are the burgers, French dips and taco salads are yummy too. We have been going since my husband worked there years and years ago. It’s more than ac restaurant as it is a family.
Excellent food and great service. We highly recommend the Flame and Skewer!
Great, cozy, intimate spot for a bite to eat with a date. I had a date night here and the food didn't disappoint.
Very nice little place The customer service was excellent. Had the Prime Rib special and fried mushrooms.
The Flame and Skewer has the best food and best variety of food in Ames. Mo and his staff are always friendly and will do anything to make your meal special. Highly deserving of 5 stars in every aspect.
We were looking for someplace different, so decided we"d try the Greek place. I had the gyro salad. Delicious, fresh, and with plenty of meat. My companion had the gyros dinner. It had lots of meat too. And the pita looked homemade. The waitress was professional and answered all our questions. Food was hot and arrived quickly. We'll be back.
Good place. Took mother on easter for the buffet
Steaks, burgers, and meals were all delicious and not overly salty. The steak is better than Texas Roadhouse.
